Terms of service
The agreement between Letsseeme and the operator using it. Plain sentences, in the order the questions actually come up.
Last updated 7 September 2026. This is a plain-language policy written to describe the product as it is actually built. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the owner should have one review it before relying on it commercially.
Who this is between
This agreement is between us, the people who make Letsseeme, and you, the operator who creates an account and runs events with it. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you are confirming you are allowed to bind it, and “you” means the business.
Guests at your events are not party to this agreement and never signed it. Neither is the host who booked you. Your relationship with them is yours, and this document does not create one between them and us.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and keep the list of people in your organisation current. Anything done under your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else is in it. You need to be able to form a binding contract where you live.
What a free account can do
Creating an account is free, and a free account is a real one: build events, design templates, pair an iPad on your kitchen table, take photos, and walk the whole thing through end to end. That is deliberate — you should be able to see exactly what a guest sees before you spend anything.
What a free account cannot do is take an event live. Going live needs either a $19 Event Pass or a current plan. Without one, the event stays where it is and the booth will not offer it. Free accounts also do not get white labelling or guest campaigns, and highlight reels carry our watermark.
Plans and what they set
Your plan sets how many booths and how many Sharing Stations may be live at the same time, whether guest pages carry your name or ours, whether you can run campaigns to past guests, and whether reels are watermarked. Those figures are on the pricing page, and they are read from the same file the billing system uses, so the page cannot drift away from what you are actually entitled to.
Extra booths can be added to a plan for a monthly fee. An Event Pass entitlement sits alongside a subscription rather than replacing it.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew until you cancel. An Event Pass is a single purchase covering one live event and does not renew; when the event is used up, the pass is used up.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you are already in, and we do not pro-rate part months. If a payment fails, the account goes past due and can lose the ability to take an event live until it is settled — which is worth knowing before a Saturday.
Prices can change. We will tell you before a change affects one of your renewals. Taxes are yours where they apply.
Money you take from guests and hosts
Sales to guests and hosts — AI effects, prints, digital extras, the full-resolution gallery — run through your own Stripe account, connected through Stripe Connect. You set every price. Until you connect that account the storefront stays switched off, and no guest is shown something they cannot buy.
We apply a 10% platform fee to sales of prints and AI effects, and no fee to sales of the photos themselves (the host gallery, the messages video, digital copies). Stripe's own processing fees are separate and set by Stripe. You are the merchant of record for those transactions: refunds, chargebacks, disputes, customer service and any tax on them are yours. Stripe's terms apply to you directly, we cannot vary or waive them, and a payout held or an account restricted by Stripe is between you and Stripe.
Your events are yours to run
You decide what happens at your events, and you are responsible for it. That includes:
- Telling guests what is happening — that photos are being taken and stored, who is taking them, and what will be done with a number or an address they type in.
- Getting whatever consent the law where you are operating requires, before you collect anything. We do not know where you are working or who your guests are, so we cannot make that call for you and we do not try to. Take your own advice.
- Having a lawful basis to contact people afterwards, and honouring it when they ask you to stop.
- Handling requests from your own guests. You are the controller of their data and we are your processor, as set out in the privacy policy. Pass us anything you need us to action and we will.
You are also responsible for what gets uploaded through your account — templates, logos, overlays, backdrops and the photos themselves — and for having the right to use it. Do not upload anything you do not own or have permission for.
How long photos are kept
Every event's full-size photos and videos are kept for your retention window: 30 days after the event unless you change it in settings, and you can set anything from 7 to 365 days. Expiry is automatic. When the window ends the full-size photos and videos are deleted and small previews remain. The host is emailed reminders before the date and can download everything from their gallery until then, and your current window is shown on your booking page, so the people you work for know the deal before they book. If you need a set kept longer, lengthen the window before the date; we cannot bring a file back once it is gone.
Opt-outs are not yours to override
When a guest replies STOP, we act on it immediately and permanently, across the platform. We will not un-suppress a number because you ask us to, we will not send on your behalf to someone who has opted out, and we do not offer a setting that ignores one. If you believe an opt-out was a mistake, the person who made it can reply START themselves. That is the only route back.
Things not to do
- Do not resell or sublicense the software itself as though it were yours. Running events for your own clients is exactly what it is for; reselling accounts is not.
- Do not try to reach another organisation's data, probe the service for weaknesses, or work around booth and station limits.
- Do not send anything unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or aimed at someone who has opted out.
- Do not use the AI effects to make material that is illegal, or that depicts a real person in a way they have not agreed to.
- Do not use the product where the law does not allow you to, or at an event where you have not got the consent you needed to get.
Who owns what
Yours: the photos and video your booths take, your templates, overlays, logos, branding, copy, prices, guest list and booking history. Uploading them to us does not give us ownership of any of it.
What you grant us: only the licence we need to do the job — to store your content, process it, put your design on it, render it, generate the effects your guests pay for, build the host's reel, and deliver it to the people you tell us to. Nothing broader. We do not use your photos to advertise Letsseeme, and we do not use them to train models.
Ours: the software, the apps, the platform template library, and the name and design of Letsseeme. Your plan is a licence to use it while your plan is current, not a transfer of it.
The guest's: when a guest receives their own photo, they get a personal licence to keep it, print it and post it — that is the entire point of the product, and it would be dishonest to text someone their picture and then restrict what they do with it. It does not extend to reselling it or to other people's photos from the same event.
Text messaging programme
Letsseeme runs a text messaging programme that delivers guests their photos and, where an operator has collected consent at their event, sends follow-ups from that operator. A guest joins only by entering their own number at a booth; there is no purchased list and no other route in. Frequency varies by event and is typically one message per photo session. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How numbers are handled is set out in the privacy policy.
The parts that depend on other people
Texting, payments, printing, AI effects and reel rendering all rely on services outside Letsseeme: a messaging account, Stripe, a printer with our print server running on your own laptop, image-generation providers, and a rendering pipeline. We build these to fail loudly and to keep the rest of the night running — the booth keeps shooting with no network at all, and queued photos go out when it reconnects — but we cannot promise a third party will be up at nine on a Saturday, and we are not liable for their outages.
Availability
We do not offer a contractual uptime figure, and we would rather say that than print a number we do not measure and have not committed to. We aim to keep the service up, we build the booth so that a network failure at the venue is survivable, and we will tell you about planned work that affects you. If that is not enough certainty for your business, it is better that you know now.
Suspension and ending it
You can close your account whenever you like, on the Settings page in the dashboard. The owner types the organisation's name to confirm, and it closes there and then.
We may suspend or close one for non-payment, or for use that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, with notice where we reasonably can, and immediately where we cannot, such as something unlawful or something threatening other operators' data.
Before you go, export what you want: galleries, the guest list, survey answers and booking history are all exportable from the dashboard while the account is open. Closing the account deletes every event, photo, video, guest record and booking straight away, and once a file is gone we cannot get it back. Take the export first. Your subscription is cancelled with it. Your own Stripe account is not touched, and money already paid out stays with you. Records we need to keep for accounting, and opt-out records, survive account closure for the reasons in the privacy policy.
Warranties
The software is provided as it is, with all its rough edges. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any and all claims is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. If you are on a $19 Event Pass, that is what that figure means, and we would rather you understood it now than discovered it later. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified before they take effect for you, and continuing to use Letsseeme after that is acceptance. The date at the top says when this version was published, and it is the only version that applies.
Governing law
[PLACEHOLDER — to be set by the owner with a lawyer.] The governing law and the courts that would hear a dispute have not been decided yet, and we are not going to invent a jurisdiction to make this page look finished. This section will name a specific one before these terms are relied on commercially.
